First I would like to say to you that every person is different with pregnancy symptoms so take no mind to the people on here that tell you it's too early to experience any symptoms like these!!! Yes you could be pregnant. I know my personal experience (due in 8 days by the way), my breasts were extremely sore before I even missed my period, and that's why I took the test, so I bought 2 tests, and just kind of knew that I wouldn't need the second one, it's a weird thing to describe, but I just kind of knew I was pregnant. So your first test was negative, which is very common by the way, some women like my sister in law don't show up positive until like five months or later even!! I would say, test again in another week if you still don't have your period, I would recommend using First Response ( I used it) because it detects the pregnancy hormone as early as the first day of your missed period or a few days before, so if your hormone levels haven't risen alot yet, then it may detect it better than some of the other ones because it's more sensitive. IF you still get a negative result, and still no period, call your doctor, because if you are pregnant, you need to find out as early as possible to give you and your baby the best start in the pregnancy. I would also recommend taking a prenatal vitamin as you are trying, so even if it turns out you're not pregnant, the vitamin will at least prepare your body with some of the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs to nourish a baby, one of the most important being Folic acid which helps prevent neural tube defects!!!
