Has anyone had an allergic or bad reaction to dead sea mineral / salts products?
Has anyone had a reaction to Peppermint Candy Cane Scented Dead Sea Mineral Bath Salts by Adovia? I used them a few times and my joints felt inflamed and stiff after I got out of the water. Now I am being treated by a doctor for swollen joints, autoimmune issues and pain in my muscles. I am almost sure that's what caused it as I had a cup of Peppermint Herbal Tea and the burning in my muscles started as soon as it was in my blood stream. I think they may have toxins in them. I bought them from Cleopatra's Choice. I'm considering taking them to a lab to be tested. My daughter has been using the dead sea mineral face products and has been having swelling in her face and hands. They used to sell Seaora Products which seemed to be much more pure in their ingredients.
You might be allergic to peppermint. That would include: gum, toothpaste and mouthwash. If you don't have an attorney to take your case, you would pay for the lab work. Would it show a cause and effect? Hard to say, and a hard case to make. If you can find others, you might find enough people to start a class action. However, the makers might file bankruptcy before you could collect. Stop using these products. Usually a rash or swelling from an allergy can be contained with a Benadryl capsule.
