for christmas i asked for dior poison. what i didn't know was there is a whole line of them and my aunt got me the original one. i actually wanted the hypnotic poison, but its too late now. i haven't received the bottle yet because its for christmas and have no idea what the original Poison smells like. It's a very heavy fragrance. Not old lady but vampy - I wouldn't have wanted to wear it when I was 14. Could you go to a Sephora or department store and try it to see if you like it? If you don't then if you don't take off the shrinkwrap you may be able to exchange it after Christmas.
