Tips to Help You Choose the Right Perfume
Have you ever looked into your wardrobe recently and wondered if you have the right perfumes? Perhaps you have been wearing perfumes that are not ideal for you and you didn't even know it. This article contains information that will help you decide for yourself, whether you have made the right purchases or not.
Understanding why you need perfume.
Some people buy perfumes because they see an appealing advertisement on TV. Others buy simply because they can afford it. However, the majority don't behave in this manner. We usually buy perfume because we have a need or desire for the perfume. Whether it's a need or a desire, at the root of it all, there is a cause. It makes sense to examine this root cause because it is different for each of us.
But there are some common reasons that keep resurfacing. For example, in a recent fragrance survey, over 70% of the respondents cited that they use a different perfume whenever they need a change of mood. In other words, the use of perfume has got emotional implications. The fragrances affect our moods, and they affect our emotions. In this way, perfumes also have an influence on how we act in daily situations.
For example, if you put on perfume that makes you feel good about yourself, you tend to start the day a little better. You smile more, and you also treat the people around you better. As a result, your day just keeps getting better as it progresses. That's the power of fragrances. It can influence your life to a certain extent.
In the same survey, it's also interesting to note that different age groups give different answers. For instance, those below 25 cited that they like to wear perfumes that others comment on. Of course, when one is young, there is a desire for more attention. Therefore, it makes sense to wear perfumes that attract other people's attention. If you are not too concerned with attracting attention, perhaps you may consider a more musky fragrance.
Understanding smells.
Perfumes are meant to make you feel good about yourself, and if possible, make the people around you feel good as well. So the fragrances should ideally appeal to you yourself, and the people around you. Obviously, you can't please everybody. But in recent years, there is a rising demand for fresh, clean and citrus smells. Apparently, these smells have broad appeal and almost everyone likes them.
Marine, woody and musky smells are on the downside. The fragrances are heavier, and that seems to put off a huge portion of the market. Some people just can't stand these fragrances.
When you put the two together - understanding why you need perfumes and understanding smells, you can clearly see what is ideal for you. And when you can see clearly, there is less chance of you buying on impulse. Line your wardrobe with perfumes that you know you will use. Don't waste money on perfumes that you are unsure about. They just end up collecting dust in your wardrobe.

Best cat litter to use around a child with asthma?
My two year old suffers from asthma. Traditional clay clumping litter sets off his asthma BAD!! Because of all the dust in it and the perfumes as well. Has anyone used "World's best cat litter"? Is it truly dust free? Would it be safer around my child?? im not overly concerned about the odor control, my one and only concern is using it around my child.
Well... you will be hard pressed to find litter that isn't "perfumed."
However, how about considering purchasing a "CatGenie" mechanical litter box? (See link below) The litter it uses is a bio-degradable "pellet" that the machine WASHES (and sanitizes) after the cat uses the box. My only caveat is that it does use a "perfume" in the sanitizing solution, but it is a pleasant one. But if your child is sensitive to perfumes, it may give him problems. IF you consider purchasing a CatGenie (they are a bit pricey but well worth it!), you might contact the company to see if they could send some "sample" of the perfume so you can test it with your child.
