Is a good dressing sense all you need to make an impact? The answer is, along with wearing clothes that fit well and suit your personality, it is very important to carry the right accessories and wear the right parfume. It isn't just your clothes that must suit your personality; your scent must do the same. The perfume you wear must complement your personality and the occasion as well. So choose your parfume or your cologne as wisely as you choose your shoes as the wrong scent can send very wrong messages to the people around you. It is a well known fact that different brands of perfume or cologne specialize in making different kinds of scents. Use the fact to your advantage. For example, if it's a bright summer day and you plan on going for lunch with your mother, wear a parfume that has a soft, mild scent. Something that smells like fresh flowers or a more citrusy scent would be ideal. Not only does it remind people of summer, it also makes you smell refreshingly fresh. Similarly, for a grand evening party, you must wear a scent that is sweet and soft and lingers for longer, making you smell wonderfully delightful. A lot of people associate their loved ones through their smell. This is because many women wear the same perfume throughout the year and people begin to associate them with that smell. Though there is no harm in doing so, please remember that stronger smelling parfumer work better for winters though in summers, it's preferable to use a milder and softer scent. However, if your perfume is one that is mild and sweet with a smell that lingers for longer, you may choose to wear it all year round. Just choose well as a perfume must reflect the person's personality and complement the natural scent of the body.The best time to apply a perfume is right after a hot shower. The heat from the shower opens up the pores of the body, making it possible for the scent to permeate in to the skin. This makes the scent linger longer. A parfume or cologne must be applied in small quantities behind the ear, on the wrists and on the inside of elbows and knees. These spots stay warmer and this makes the scent linger longer. Anyone know the value of the 1983 limited edition Salvador Dali "Le Parfum" 10oz crystal bottles?
I am very lucky to own one of the limited edition 10oz "Le Parfum Salvador Dali" crystal bottles. The bottle is HUGE (ten ounces of pure parfum) heavy and VERY beautiful, a sculptural work of art. My bottle is #979 of 5000 and is still in PERFECT condition, in its original double boxes, and full of the original parfum, which thanks to proper storage is still as it should be. I also have the hardback "Le Parfum Salvador Dali" book that came along with the bottle. These bottles retailed for $1,500 in 1983, and I'm very curious of its current day value. I can't find much info on this bottle, If anyone has any info please let me know. Thanks
