Christmas at the Beach

The flooding was horrible. They had never even seen it coming, the Miller family, scrambled to put all they could of their beloved possessions before sprinting to the car to get their family to safety before the water rose much higher where it would be impossible to do so. As they did so they were forced to leave behind the families pet goldfish to which the children, Abby, 6 and Desiree 6, were desperately saddened by.

"Stay close children!" Abby's mother yelled at her back as she walked further onto the beach. Cindy, their mother was so worried by how the girls would be handling Christmas this year, with their tree gone, all of their presents likely destroyed, it was all they could do to get all of them to safety, there had been no time to gather Christmas presents. With Christmas only one full day away from this evening Cindy was worried the girls would experience some depression and wanted them to exercise off some excess energy with some sand castle building or beach activities.

"If you build it close to the motel door, Daddy and I will see if we can find some Christmas lights to put on it. How about that girls?" Cindy said to them, looking down on their sad little faces. "Will that be okay this year for a Christmas tree since ours got lost?"

"Sure Mommy!", Desiree, her little trooper replied. "That would be just great!" Desiree then led Abby to just a bit past the ledge of the motel wall to begin their build on their Christmas Castle.

Biff, watching from his camouflaged spot in the sand not far from Abby was saddened too. He had seen the tear in the littlest one's eyes as her mom had reminded her of their lost Christmas tree. He wasn't even sure what a Christmas tree was but he was sure that the loss of it was hurting these two pretty little children. Even more, they didn't seem like the other children who tended to want to prod him with sticks or other beach debris, these little girls seemed gentle, Biff knew instantly he could trust them. Biff vowed to do what he could to make them smile again.

Then next morning as Biff was passing his favorite spot on the beach he spotted the creation of the little girls. Biff had a feeling the Dad guy may have snuck out during the night and improved on it as this sand castle was unlike one he had ever seen in his entire life lived right here on this beach. With walls that seemed to soar forever up to Biff, and a real live moat surrounding the place for protection, he decided this sand castle was not only a source of joy for his two secret little friends, but it would make him a fine living establishment while it lasted. Not one for wasting time Biff picked up his favorite beach glass, his most favorite bottle cap and himself and walked quickly sideways to his new home.

He wasn't in there long, shaded and safe before he dozed off to sleep. While he was sleeping the Dad guy snuck out, when he thought Biff wasn't looking and placed an incredibly weird looking hat on his head. It was red and conical and had a huge fluffy white ball on the end. As Biff had begun to shake it off, he had seen the great smile that spread across the Dad guys face and stopped himself. For some reason, he got the sense that this may be what it took to get those little girls to smile. So annoyed as he was by how it was destroying his great fashion sense, he left the curious little hat on and fell back to sleep in what he supposed was his new retiring room.

About an hour later he was awoken to the sounds of shrill laughter and was frightened to see a small crowd of people had surrounded his lush new home. While at first he was confused by all of the laughter and his pride was damaged enough to make him want to storm off sideways quickly, he caught sight of the two little girls who he had wanted to desperately to see smile and noted that they were both pointing and laughing at the ridiculous red hat perched on his shell. As he slowly spread his own crabby version of a smile he heard Abby exclaim, "Look Mommy, a Christmas crab and he has his own shack!"

Gales of more laughter followed and it seemed if only for a short time, minor tragedies aside, that everyone realized the value of just being surrounded by loved ones on an important holiday such as Christmas, and a great big laugh never hurts either.

How can I get the beach girl look?

What stores should I get clothes from?
How should I do my make-up and hair?

1. Blonde or streak hair(moisturize). 2.Take a bath with the juice from two lemons, stay in under the water for 20 mins. to lighten arm,leg hairs. Rinse off in clean water, then wash with Dove.3. Tan. 4.Day- wear cotton (cut off jeans etc. Evening-thin cloth clothes with sun tanned cleavage showing(not to much). 5.Eat lots of citrus fruit(this will make skin shine naturally) and drink your 8's of water. 6 Wash with "Dove" to keep skin soft and unpeeling. 7. apply sun lotion during the day and a light oil or lotion on legs and arms for evening. Apply lighter make up to the inner and outer corners of the eye. Use a small amount of "bronzer" on the cheeks. Buy a nudepink lip stick with small amount of gloss in it for evening. Buy a matte pink/rose lip stick for day.
