Few labels say "urban " as loudly as both these do. One is a metropolis of culture, art and excitement, galvanized by Gotham, Long Island Town itself. The other, Diesel is the authority on all things with an edge and a cult following and popular culture heavy influences. I can recollect when these 2 designer started to a get enormous fan following. It is not surprising then, that these 2 designers Donna Karan and Rosso are gurus on having their designs and their products sold at many alternative locations and still maintain trendy costs, if you will.
Diesel watches are sleek and fun. They have a whole theme of serious style mingled with high-tech lines. Many of them while being masculine still, don't really showcase the bulky metal that we're used to when we think of men's watches. They don't have too many designs for women's watches and most of the watches a woman could wear are of the unisex variety. These watches are sporty and durable time pieces, but they also take care to include more options. For example, you have your high-end designs that have a somewhat urban and polished look that is refreshing because it creates it's own trends as opposed to following someone else's thoughts on what's "in". Either route you take, you can't go wrong because Diesel sets the industry's standard for what is fashionable and in when it comes to urban wear and in particular, men's wear. Diesel makes watches for a sophisticated guy with an edge, but he is a cool sophisticated guy who isn't going to shave every day. He is someone who is not above wearing his designer jeans really dirty with a pair of Italian leather shoes. This is a brand of quintessentially cool taste. Many urban professionals make this their brand of choice for jeans and accessories. The prices range around £100-£500.
DKNY watches have quite a bit more of a feminine look. "It's about the lifestyle" is one of the mottos of DKNY and this means the lifestyle you want coming across. "Glam" is the key word here. DKNY sets the standard anew but using metalwork and using links in the more traditional way. DKNY watches are more classy than they are edgy. There is a lot of gold, chrome and matte steel in colours. Occasionally girly and glitzy or more unisex and versatile. Many of these pieces can be used wearing casual and more business attire, though the evening icon pieces are going to look out of place if worn to the gym. Although the watches are more on the classically traditional side, often DKNY uses different features to update versions of the tried and true watch, to sort of add a contemporary feel, more modern, if you will. Colour is one way in which this happens, also they feature a lot of diamante and diamond studs to provide elegance and urban glamour. The versatility of DKNY's watches is exactly why the collections provide such a wide range of choices for the modern watch wearer. They even have candy-coloured trendy options! It is true though that the closer they stay to what has worked, the better it looks. Like a little black dress that can portray someone's personality while still being appropriate, these watches tend to come across as a part of the wearer's outlook and well, lifestyle. DKNY's prices vary as well and are usually around £85-£200.

Uhm let's see...you seem to want to stick with the classic designer brands, but for men's sunglasses I tend to prefer Ray-Bans or Oakleys. These companies make sleek fashionable but not overly dressy and above all dependable black-framed sunglasses. If you've got to go designer, buy Prada.
